Messerarbeit, knive work

Long time no see

Silent and fast like cats, the men were on deck. Some pulled the material from the two zodiacs and the others went hunting. They merged with the shadows of the deck superstructures. Hunt for the guards. That was knife work. Silent and bloody. They had trained with Lambert again. A scream, or the cracking of a radio could destroy the plan. The darkness would protect them and the many sounds that squeezed the sea out of that log of thousands of tons of steel. They should not overlook anyone. And nobody is allowed to see them. The guards should only feel them in her last moment. When it was too late. If they were lucky they might still see a pale star slowly fading in their eternal night.
